He warned the bad elements in the society that he would re-incarnate as Veerabhoga Vasantha Rayulu in future re-establishing righteousness- the Dharma in the society and one being a Commander of the Future, he alerted the entire populace. He is one who professed and practiced all that he was preaching at that time, an idol and a beloved leader of the masses. Having sacrificed his entire life for the welfare of the society, remaining in the selfmade tomb forever-an embodiment of virtues and great principles in the life-and-that is Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy.
The sacred place where the Swamiji went into exile, the self-made tomb in which he went into deep meditation is called “Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Mattam” (Kandimallayapalli, Kadapa Dist.). It is the firm belief of the devotees that Sri Swamiji went into deep meditation in the live tomb on the auspicious day of Suddha Dasami of Vysakha month. It is the belief of the current Mathadhipathi Sri Veerabhoga Vasantha Venkateswara Swamiji that Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamiji must have gone into exile and remained in deep meditation during 1963 A.D.
